This anime is, once more, taken from a BL game with the same name, but even though the game has 18+ content, the anime doesn't.
So far, there are only 2 OVA's, and these tell the story of Hamura Shou, a new student at the Yuusei Academy.
In this academy, he meets a wide range of characters, including the top student, Misonou Kai who is an adopted child and the heir of a powerful enterprise; however, Kai reminds Shou of his lost twin brother. When confronted, Kai denies any relation with Shou and is very cold and distant with him, which brings Shou's hopes down and he ultimately decides that such a boy could never be the sweet and loving brother he knew.
Later on, we discover that Kai has doubts regarding Shou but he is afraid of betraying the only companionship he has ever had in years: a boy named Nagi whom (we can assume) is more than a friend for him.
Inside the cast we also find an old friend of Shou, an insecure and effeminate-looking boy and a blue-haired student who is fascinated with the story of an "imaginary" kingdom known as Wingfield, which was ruled by the ones who possessed a pair of white wings.
Shou is very optimistic and confident, which helps him start his life at the academy, but it's just a matter of time before strange things began to happen. Shou and his group of friends are the only ones who can fight the adversities, and perhaps, discover the truth about Wingfield.
The story misght be confusing in the first OVA, but it certanly makes sense once you have finished with the second one. Therefore, I'd recommend watching the first part at least once more.
The animation is very well done, and the design of characters is very neat and styled which doesn't leave anything to hope for. The music and especially the vocal cast are also great, since they give more feeling to the story. The only thing that is kind of "out of place" are the abrupt changes of scenes, especially in the 2nd OVA, but that's a minor detail.
The plot is creative and complete; is a mixture of mystery, adventure, romance, etc. that make you want to know more of what you are watching. Perhaps at the end you'll feel that what you have seen is a mere introduction, but let's keep in mind that it's unknown if they will deliver a third part, so we cross our fingers and pray they do, because the journey of the whole cast has just begun!
You might be wondering why is it called "Angel's Feather", but that would imply a major spoiler, so the only thing I'll say is that if you love handsome and cute bishies with wings, then you can't miss this anime.
Regarding the BL content, yes, it is very light, but there are is enough for a fan to fantasize, so I hope you enjoy it!
