Gravitation is definately one of the best light yaoi stories around. It has many cute guys in it, and as far as I can remember, there are only three girls involved (excluding the fans).
So, according to Yuki Eiri, the seme in this story, Shindo Shuichi's talent in songwriting sucks. At first, people would think that 'Who the hell do you think you are?'. But later, we found out that he is the hottest love story writer in Japan. As for someone who wants to get his talents recognized, Shuichi sure get a lot more than he bargained for.
Gravitation is one of the anime that actually made the characters slim yet muscular, which is very attractive, if you ask me. I despise too much muscle and chest hair.
Gravitation does not have overly explicit scenes, but it do have scenes which made the viewers' heart thump like hell. Like when Shuichi is beaten by the guys that the ASK's vocalist hire, just to save Yuki's reputation.
Shuichi is loyal. Yuki is cold, but in truth, he loves Shuichi. He just never says it. But it shows in his actions. Like he covers Shuichi in blanket. He will only do stuff for Shuichi when he's certain that Shuichi will not know about it. Of course, some times Shuichi founds out, and when he asks Yuki, it somehow will lead to kissing or love making.
What gives life to this anime is Yuki's voice. Seriously. It's way sexy. His eyes are beautiful. Somehow it can make people gasp and tremble.
More, it has some great songs! I'm currently hooked to the song RAGE BEAT. I'm totally addicted to it.
However, OOC-ness (out of character) occurs. For one thing, Ryuichi's behavior is weird, man. I mean, he skips. He brought along his stuffed bunny (and god forbid, it's pink!) wherever he went! And Mr. Seguchi Tohma is like, a little boy. He's 30 something. I'm shocked at first, and I still am now.
You will probably be wondering about the costumes in this anime. There's a banana costume (I still can't get that figured out til this day), the puppy-dog costume, and his outragous costume onstage. I mean, if it wasn't for the outer coat, he looks like a prostitute.
Anyway, overall, it's an anime worth buying. If you'll excuse me, I'm gonna watch it all over again (for the fourth time!).
