According to the Juné Manga Editor's Blog, the anthology J-Boy is on hiatus after one volume. J-Boy was based on the Japanese publication Junk Boy, once published by Biblos. Since Biblos' bankruptcy, Junk Boy is no longer being published. No further volumes of the English J-Boy are planned currently, and its future is uncertain. Full details are on the Juné Blog.

A few U.S. scheduled releases have been delayed, at least in part by happenings in the Japanese manga publishing world. Earlier this year, the Japanese BL publisher Biblos declared bankruptcy, but many of their titles were picked up by a company called Libre. The shift of licensing rights from Biblos to Libre seems to be what is causing the manga delays.

BLU has announced via their forum that the manga titles Love Pistols and Love Mode are both on hold due to this shift.

Unrelated to the Biblos/Libre situation, according to Anime on DVD, the Gakuen Heaven DVD #1, from Media Blasters, has been "delayed indefinitely." The delay is caused by other titles, such as the VOLTRON DVDs, taking up too much of Media Blasters' production time.

Update: According to Media Blasters representative John Patterson, Gakuen Heaven Vol. 1 DVD will be released on March 6, 2007.

Update: Media Blasters has announced that Gakuen Heaven DVD Vol. 2 will be released on May 28, 2007.
