Yaoi-Con 2007 News

BLU is willing to take suggestions for new titles and features that fans would like to see in their manga. Translation notes are not something BLU usually includes, but if fans want them, they should ask. You can contact BLU at their web site. Also, the price for new BLU books will be increasing to $12.99 in 2008. BLU staff also explained that because BL manga does not sell the volume that non-BL manga does, the publishers have to purchase more shelf space at the book stores because the manga sits around on the shelves longer, leading to the higher prices of BL manga.

DramaQueen mentioned that Amazon cancels purchase of books when the original shipping date passes, but DQ asks the fans to have faith that the books will come out. They said they were surprised when RightStuf asked to do a promotion of their books, and it put a lot of pressure on them to produce the titles they have licensed.
